Title: Software Automation Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are adding a highly talented Software Automation Engineer to our team. We will look to this integral role for maintaining our high standards across the products we utilize, both internally and externally. 

The Software Automation Engineer will be part of a test team working with our development team in an Agile environment to test new and existing web application products. The testing will include manual testing, along with the planning and development of automated testing. In this role, the employee will write test cases, create and execute test plans, and craft testing strategies for each release. 

Essential Functions:

Works with functional teams to analyze and identify automation test cases, identify test data requirement for automation.

Experience and development of automated testing scripts
Experience and understanding of software and hardware performance factors
Understanding of Quality Methodology and process creation in an IT environment
Valid Florida driver’s License

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Visual Studio Web Load Testing desired
Experience with Team Foundation System, Vault or Perforce applications a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Utilization of Performance Testing Tools
Utilization of Microsoft Visual Studio Web Load Testing Tools
Limited use of Progress Test Studio Testing Tools
Visual Studio IDE knowledge
Must have software development experience
Full understanding of the goals of the entire project (not just QA with regards to functionality being developed, delivery dates, quality requirements, available resources, and the relationship of the current project to other ongoing projects, and to the rest of the product line)
Written and verbal communication skills, which are used with team members and clients in the form of training, mentoring, and presentations
Responsible for team understanding of Quality Methodology and process creation
Work with developers and DBAs on test projects
Utilization of defect tracking tools (TFS, Jira, Bugzilla, etc)
Experience with Source Control Applications and Software Configuration Management promotion processes
