Automation and Visibility Team Lead (Director, Technology – Infrastructure)
Nielsen needs an IT Director to lead infrastructure automation (infra as code) and visibility (reporting and analytics). This position requires a collaborative, technical and strategic thinker who enjoys rolling up his/her sleeves and working with the team to achieve goals, meet deadlines, eliminate security risks and create a culture of innovation. The successful candidate will have knowledge of scripting languages (Ansible, Python, and Powershell) and be able to guide team members in the correct vision and strategy. You will be responsible for our entire platforms and manage a team of technical resources. Your experience with CI/CD life cycle will help our systems grow as we expand.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of technical resources (Off-shore) that handle both operations and new platform development
* Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software and storage while ensuring strategic Vision
* Spotfire
* DataStudios
* Direct and support implementation of software
* Interact and communicate with management and non technical associates
* Owner of SNOW ITOM platform, drive development and changes to match the business needs
* Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety
* Identify and recommend new technology solutions that we can implement
Skills:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Programming, Computer Science or related experience
* 6+ years’ management experience in an IT environment
* Have understanding of SQL preferred
* Python, Ancible, Ansible Tower, PowerShell. Other scripting languages a plus
* Experience providing IT solutions and automation preferred
* Process Improvement (green/black belt)
