Oversees the strategic planning of multiple application development, maintenance, and enhancement projects utilizing appropriate system architectures with an enterprise-wide focus
Ensures optimum integration level of business systems and data as well as integration with both communications and evolving technology
Provides direction for the development and utilization of human resources, collaborating with company customers, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, assess impacts to other data and systems, consider available technologies, compare costs and benefits, and recommend solutions
Manages project teams with specialties in various technical areas, to ensure results meet negotiated customer expectations and adhere to internal standards and strategies
Assesses project viability and recommends strategies and tactics to satisfy customer needs
Is accountable for ensuring product delivery on time and within budget meeting customer expectations within the service level standard of quality
Provides assessment of customer requirements
Analysis of architecture of business events and data that support the architecture
Evaluation of possible solutions
Presentation of recommendations to IT management and customer
Provisions for resources and planning for all aspects of systems analysis, design, development, installation, maintenance and enhancement for mission critical application systems for an assigned area
Establishes appropriate support from various technology and service departments
Monitors and reports to IT and user/customer management on the status of multiple concurrent project efforts
Develops project proposals and other development life cycle documentation, follows approval process at each project gate, and adjusts project plans as required
Develops annual budget based upon project priorities, and manages actuals to within budget
Executes performance management and administers HR policies and practices, such as annual performance appraisals, succession planning, individual feedback sessions, group communication sessions and employee development plans
Contributes to IT strategic directions and executes IT initiatives and projects within a strategic framework
Leads continuous improvement of IT development processes and procedures
Performs additional duties as assigned
Meets attendance and punctuality standards
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Educational:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline equivalent experience acceptable.
10+ years of experience in Information Technology experience.
A minimum of three years of project management responsibility, demonstrating leadership skills and possessing a track record of managing technical staff and financial resources through various life-cycle phases (cross-functional experience highly desirable)
Knowledge of technology and tools applicable to areas of responsibility.
Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in mainframe, midrange, and PC computing environments desirable in-depth experience in one or more is critical.
Experience managing a variety of teams and team structures (including matrix and direct report), and globally diverse teams.
Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Able to be diplomatic when handling calls/correspondence for Management.
Able to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.
Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
Able to design applications using new or existing methodologies.
