Foot Locker is seeking a skilled and motivated leader to be part of a fast-paced organization providing innovative Finance solutions in support of Foot Locker’s global operations.  This role is accountable for the management of Foot Locker’s PeopleSoft Finance applications along with the engineering team that performs development and support for these and other related business systems.  The qualified candidate will apply deep expertise of Finance solutions to develop a positive partnership with the business community and peers in the IS&T organization to achieve strategic and tactical goals, as well as provide exceptional system support and availability.  The role will also provide leadership to team members to attain these goals while maintaining defined service levels for these areas of accountability and will work with business partners to define priority of work and effectively plan and manage resource capacity.

Lead and manage engineers responsible for the development and support of Foot Locker’s global Finance solutions.
Monitor and maintain service levels for business systems within the area of responsibility.
Perform project and resource planning in conjunction with IS&T leadership and business owners.
Collaborate with team members and other teams in the work effort estimation of new projects.
Develop and maintain close and effective working relationships and engage all impacted areas (business, IS&T, vendors) in solution delivery and issue resolution.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.
Work with IS&T project management staff to resource projects and manage resource conflicts.
Provide reporting and updates on project status, budget impacts, and status of objectives to IS&T and business leadership as necessary.
Collaborate with compliance teams to maintain compliance with SOX, data protection, and other legal and policy compliance matters.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field and/or equivalent IS&T experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience in IS&T.
Minimum 5 years of experience with PeopleSoft Finance or comparable ERP systems (Oracle Business Suite, SAP) in a complex environment.
Detailed knowledge of Project Life Cycle and its requirements.
Experience with SOX and related compliance requirements.
Ability to understand technical and business concepts with specific experience in Finance/Accounting.
Knowledge of and experience with (General Ledger/AP/AR/Asset Management/Inventory,etc.) highly preferred.
Strategic planning, budget and resource management skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Adaptable, shows proactive initiative and a sense of urgency with follow-through.
Proven track record of building collaborative relationships across functional areas.
Retail experience is a plus.
