Title: Director, Digital Analytics

The Director, Digital Analytics, will support the product development team in the design, development and commercialization of cutting edge, data-driven ad-tech products for Catalina’s CPG and agency clients. He/she will define the processes to extract, integrate, and analyze digital media data, shopper data, and 3rd party data in a scalable way, focusing on opportunities to efficiently deliver insights, targeting, measurement and KPIs via dashboards and automated analytics/reporting. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with data analysis and predictive modeling best practices to drive innovation in these areas within Catalina. Key areas of expertise will include digital advertising, measurement, campaign design, statistics, technology.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
•Support sales and product inquires on campaign design, measurement options, and/or lead custom analytic requests and exploratory analysis
•Run and produce standard measurement products for internal client teams
•Work with internal and external stakeholders to communicate results, methodologies, and training
•Oversee the continued development of the analytic digital capabilities within the Catalina network, identifying opportunities to improve the processes and streamline activities.
•Clearly communicate and summarize findings for the team to help develop better products.
•Participate in the development and testing process of future products
•Interact with various cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Technology, and 3rd Party vendors, to understand processes and technologies and implement analytical solutions
•Support and/or lead advanced predictive modeling initiatives that align with business objectives
•Research and test new measurement and targeting methodologies using machine learning techniques
•Support and/or build user-interfaces, or BI solutions, presentations
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
•Masters in statistics, computer science, math, physics, optimization, engineering, or similar hard science.
•At least 8 years post education experience
•5+ years in client facing roles
•3+ years digital advertising and/or digital technology
•Programming aptitude. Can and wants to adapt to different languages and systems. (SAS, SQL, Python, R, Shiny, Hadoop, Hive, Cloud environments, ect).
•Experience building and implementing predictive models
•Experience working on open ended custom analytic requests
•Drive to find answers, motivation to learn and adaptive to changing business needs
•Enjoys being in the data and finding value/insight
•Dedication and perseverance to overcome data, analytical, and/or technical challenges
