A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is preferred.
At least two years of desktop support and/or system administration experience in appropriate technical environment.
Versed supporting current Microsoft Client and server Operating Systems, and Active directory.
Experience with Dell or equivalent Client, Server & networking hardware / equipment.
Experience supporting VPN technology & communications.
The ability to support high number of end user computing devices
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little oversight
Self-motivated and success oriented
Ability to multi-task and with a degree of professionalism and responsiveness
Able to maintain grace under pressure
Ability to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion

Job Summary: The Desktop Support technician will be one of the primary associates responsible for providing tier 1 -2 help desk support for over 300 internal and remote employees in a campus environment. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for technical assistance and support for internal applications, software and hardware issues in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The individual should have working knowledge and understanding of current technology relating to desktop and systems support, including workstation and laptop repair and configuration, networking equipment and mobile devices. The Desktop Support Technician will be required to carry a phone/pager and respond to after-hours service requests and problems when designated on call.

Win 2012-2016 server Administration
Internet Information Server / Web Server Administration
Intranet applications systems and servers
Server / Infrastructure Administration
Staff / PC Support
Print server and printer administration
Customer service and support
Experience with Cisco AnyConnect and Check Point Endpoint remote user VPN support
Maintain server room infrastructure (power / HVAC / connectivity)
Telecommunications Administration experience – preferred, VoIP
Ability to manage Online Project Communication’s ticket queue
