Title: VP, Global IT Operations

With the world’s largest shopper purchase history database driving all personalized media across our networks, Catalina drives lift and loyalty for the world’s leading CPG brands and retailers. We target consumers with the right behavior-based message when it’s most impactful via the channel that’s most likely to reach them — digital or in the store.
Data and information are core assets of the enterprise and Catalina’s ability to successfully aggregate, productize and monetize these assets more effectively is critical. In order to execute on the next stage of our strategy, we are now seeking a world class Global Technology Operations leader who will build a best in category engineering team based on practices including 3rd party vendor and other contemporary methodologies.
Reporting to the CTO the incumbent will lead a team of ~25 onshore and ~300 offshore resources inclusive of Network and Infrastructure, Dev Ops, IT Operations, L2/L3 support, and Business Systems, and will have heavy engagement with the European and Japanese technology teams who dot line into the function.
•Lead the definition, development, and delivery of network services and enable engineering capabilities in a high-performance data analytics technology company
•Provide vision for technology infrastructure and leadership necessary to create and maintain key systems (SalesForce, Hyperion, Workday)
•Execute key initiative to migrate from an on premises data center to cloud technologies (Azure) including Big Data environment (Hadoop)
•Drive strategy, innovation, delivery and best practices for the company across functional lines
•Work directly with external solution suppliers to better manage new and existing relationships
•Institute quality standards, performance reporting, issue tracking and other major project delivery strategies
•Attract and retain top technology talent and drive engagement that rallies the IT Run organization behind a redefined Catalina technology vision
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent; minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with at least 7 years of Technology leadership experience
•High-energy, high-integrity, engaging, innovative, collaborative leadership approach
•Demonstrated success driving performance in a transforming company (fail fast and win big)
•High level of knowledge and expertise with domains, including architecture
•Extensive experience with cloud readiness, migration pathway to hosted technologies (Azure), and methodologies that include Agile/Scrum and DevOps
•Experience with IBM Netezza data warehouse technologies
•Extensive experience with management of L2/L3 call centers/ ITIL
•Extensive knowledge of various business systems (Hyperion, Salesforce, Workday, etc.)
•Demonstrated experiences in reporting and management of complex organizations through utilization of appropriate metrics / tools
•Experience hosting and operating high performance systems including their infrastructure, service levels, in both hosted and cloud environments
•Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
•Strong project management with track record of on-time, on budget and high-quality implementations
