Vector Solutions is looking to hire a Training and Development Manager to spearhead Corporate training and development measure for our employees. The training and development manager is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization’s employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.
Conducts annual training and development needs assessments utilizing internal LMS and outside resources
Direct and oversee the Learning Management System (LMS)
Consults with managers and supervisors to assess training needs.
Proposes training and development programs and objectives.
Develops, implements and delivers training programs for varying levels of individuals within the organizations.
Obtains and/or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
Trains and coaches’ managers, supervisors involved in employee management.
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Continually evaluates training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
Plan, direct, deliver, and evaluate professional growth activities for various levels of management training and leadership teams.
Plan, direct, deliver, and evaluate annual Professional Security, Privacy, and Ethics compliance training
Formalize and create effective succession planning
Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
Develops and maintains organizational communications such as newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
Modifies programs as needed.
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus
8 years of progressive experience in training and development in a Human Resources capacity
Strong understanding of training principles, tools and best practices with experience in learning and knowledge management systems
Significant program management experience in successfully identifying, planning, managing and delivering multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines
Thrives in a faced-paced environment with constant change and a rapidly growing team
Experience creating succession planning for a corporate environment
