Catalina is seeking an analytics leader with deep knowledge and strong relationships in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Marketing Mix industry. This is a highly visible role internally and externally. As the Executive Director, Marketing performance, you will be reporting to the VP of Marketing performance.


The Executive Director, Marketing Performance will:
•Support the Vice President, Marketing Performance, who represents Catalina as a thought leader in the Industry on topics related to Marketing Performance, with a heavy emphasis on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
•Engage with mix providers and clients throughout mix engagements
•Guide mix modelers on how to best work with Catalina campaign data
•Help clients understand known limitations of MMM and interpret results
•Establish and oversee internal processes and best practices in terms of data delivery and mix engagements
•Evangelize the benefits of Experimental Design and emerging Consumer-level alternatives to MMM
•Contribute to research studies and industry events, supporting the Vice President, Marketing Performance
•Own Catalina’s marketing performance presentation materials and talking points to ensure a consistent message in the marketplace
•Educate Catalina Sales partners and provide guidance on best practices in campaign design and measurement to enhance campaign performance, particularly within the context of MMM
•Coach Catalina Analytics teams on MMM engagement with clients

•Strong persuasive skills to influence clients and mix providers to endorse recommended analytical approaches and invite Catalina to have a seat at the table in the mix process
•Masters in statistics, marketing research, or related field
•10+ years’ experience in an analytical capacity, with a strong focus on evaluating marketing campaign performance
•3+ years in an externally-facing role
•Strong presentation and public speaking skills
•CPG industry experience
•In-depth Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling, either at a Mix Provider or at a CPG Manufacturer or, ideally, both
•Strong, in-depth knowledge of statistical and marketing methodologies, including Marketing Mix Modeling, Experimental Design, Analysis of Covariance, Digital Analytics, and Attribution Modeling
